Welcome!
Dedicated to my reef tank and its inhabitants, this
site documents my journey into this fascinating, challenging and
rewarding world. First thing first, please allow me to introduce
you to the view from my desk!

At approximately 3 months old, the algae bloom stages have
been and gone leaving behind a few remaining patches, with
some lovely macro algae and also some beautiful pink calcerous
algae too.
Fish stocking have began in earnest starting with groups
of grazers and herbivores such as surgeon fish. A harem of
canary wrasse provides the continous protection against planaria
outbreaks. Shoaling green chromis fluidily cruise around the
rockworks. One fascinating yellow headed jawfish charmingly
dug it's burrow centre stage inches away from the viewing
glass. One pair of clowns snuggles up in a bubble tip anemone
- four more juvenile clowns were added recently too simply
because they are irresitably cute!
Scattered about are tiny cuttings of Acropora and Montipora
corals, though not normally visible, provide the surprises
as one looks into the tank at different angles and positions.
Their full impact will not show for sometimes, and yet, each
day they demand focal interest with their growth and transformation.
